The Competition Council participated in the annual meeting of the International Competition Network (ICN) held in May 2022 in Berlin by the German Competition Authority. Like in previous years, this meeting brought together all competition authorities, law firms, and experts specialized in the field, as well as prestigious institutions such as the World Bank Group, the OECD, and UNCTAD. This was an opportunity for the Council to strengthen its position within the African Competition Forum (ACF/FAC), whose member countries organized an ad hoc session at the ICN meeting. This meeting also helped revive relationships with network members, who had somewhat drifted apart from each other due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
