Rabat, November 11, 2025 – The Competition Council and the High Commission for Planning have signed a partnership agreement aimed at establishing a framework for strategic cooperation between the two institutions, in terms of exchanging information, conducting joint studies, training, and organizing awareness-raising activities.<\/p>\n

This partnership is part of the efforts made to strengthen economic transparency, improve understanding of market competitive dynamics, and promote informed public decision-making based on reliable data and objective analyses.<\/p>\n

Through this agreement, the Competition Council and the High Commission for Planning intend to pool their respective expertise: the Council through its role in assessing market practices and detecting anti-competitive behaviors, and the High Commission for Planning through the production and dissemination of official statistical and economic data. This synergy aims to consolidate competitive regulation and support the competitiveness of the national economy.<\/p>\n

Cooperation between the two institutions will focus in particular on the structured and secure exchange of data on consumer and production prices, the conduct of joint studies on common interest topics, the development of skills among staff through cross-training, as well as the organization of scientific and technical events.<\/p>\n
