NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE TRANSACTION
The Competition Council received a notification of an economic concentration transaction concerning the acquisition by the company « HOLMARCOM S.A» and Mr. Mehdi Smires of joint control of the company « SCANDIMAR S.A. », through the acquisition of, respectively, 60% and 20% of its share capital and associated voting rights.
« HOLMARCOM S.A » is a Moroccan joint stock company, headquartered in Casablanca. It operates in various sectors, including finance, agribusiness, distribution, logistics, and real estate.
« SCANDIMAR S.A. » is a Moroccan joint stock company, headquartered in Mohammedia. It is active in the purchase, processing, sale, and export of seafood products (fresh, frozen, dried, canned, and smoked).
