Mohamed Abouelaziz, whom His Majesty the King appointed as Secretary General of the Competition Council, holds a Doctorate in Law from Mohammed V University in Rabat and an MBA in economics and finance from the Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris.
Previously, he served as advisor to the President of the Competition Council, as deputy general rapporteur within this institution, and as head of legal affairs at the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
Author of a book on “public enterprises in the test of competition”, published by Bouregreg editions (2012) and several contributions on governance and competition law, he has also taught as a visiting professor at the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences in Rabat.
