The Competition Council received a notification regarding the joint control acquisition of the company “Duffle Travel Retail Platform GmbH” by the companies “Gharage Ventures GmbH” (GH), “Dufry International” (Dufry), and “Takeaway.com Central Core BV” (JET).

GH, a German limited liability company, operates and provides duty-free shops in airports, seaports, and border crossings worldwide.

Dufry, a Swiss public limited company, is a global retailer that sells a range of products in travel retail concessions, including clothing, electronics, jewelry and watches, tobacco, literature, children’s toys, fine foods, and confectionery for consumption outside the point of sale. Dufry is also a global provider of catering services for travelers.

JET, a Dutch limited liability company, is an online food delivery merchant that connects consumers with restaurants and other partners through its platforms.
