Press release regarding the meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law 20-13 on the Competition Council as amended and supplemented, the Permanent Commission of the Council held a meeting on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 09:30 under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigative services.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on January 26, 2023.
The Permanent Commission then made decisions to authorize the following three economic concentration operations:

• • The acquisition by the company « Rocket Bidco Pty ltd » of the exclusive control of the company « Nitro Software limited » and its subsidiaries through the acquisition of 100% of its share capital and voting rights thereto ;
  • The establishment of a joint venture “Ahead GmbH” by the companies “ZF Friedrichshafen AG”, “Hella GmbH & Co. KGaA”, “NGK Spark Plug Europe GmbH” and “Clarios Germany GmbH & Co. KG” ;
  • The joint control of “Frushcut Morocco” by “CDG Invest S.A.”, “A-Rock Management” and private investors.
