Press release regarding the meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law 20-13 concerning the Competition Council, the Permanent Commission of the Council held a meeting on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 9:30 a.m., under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigative services.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on November 22, 2021.

The Permanent Commission then made decisions to authorize the following three economic concentration operations:

• • • The creation of a Joint Venture jointly controlled by the companies “Orange Participations S.A.” and “Multi Market Services France Holdings”;
    • The acquisition by “Elopak ASA” of the exclusive control of the companies “Naturepak Beverage Packaging Co Ltd” and “Naturepak Beverage Packaging Africa SAS” through the acquisition of all the shares of the share capital and voting rights;
    • Indirect exclusive control of the company Kiwi VFS SUB I sarl by the company Blackstone Inc.
