The Council signed, on November 9, 2021, a cooperation agreement with the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC). This agreement aims to establish a framework for consultation on aspects related to competitive regulation in the capital market. It reflects the willingness of both institutions to create a dynamic of cooperation, exchange, and complementarity that ensures the effectiveness and sustainability of their joint actions, for good governance, in accordance with the legal framework governing both parties. It will also enable the communication and exchange of useful information and documents as well as expertise, concerning topics of common interest. The Competition Council and the AMMC also anticipate organizing awareness-raising and support activities for operators in the capital market sector, in order to promote compliance with the best competitive standards and practices.
