Press release regarding the meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law 20-13 on the Competition Council, the Council’s Permanent Commission held a meeting on Monday, June 07, 2021 at 09:30, under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigative services.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on May 31, 2021.

The Permanent Commission then made decisions to authorize the following economic concentration operations:

• • • • The exclusive control by Cheplapharm Arzneimittel Gmbh of certain assets related to the cardiology products of AstraZeneca AB (PUBL).
      • The acquisition by “CFG Bank” of 30% of the share capital and voting rights of the company “REIM Partners”.

Furthermore, in accordance with the provisions of Article 26 of Law 104-12 on price freedom and competition, the Permanent Commission declared inadmissible the submission from the company “Ecoes Environnement Sarl” concerning the organization of the tender issued by the Provincial Hospital Center of Azilal.
