NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES
The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration project concerning the acquisition by the company “Fives SAS” of the exclusive control of the company “Aries Industries SAS” through the acquisition of all its share capital and related voting rights.
“Fives SAS” is a French simplified joint-stock company, headquartered at 3 rue Drouot, 75009 Paris, France, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 542 023 841. “Fives SAS” designs and manufactures machines, process equipment, and production lines for various industrial sectors: steel, aeronautics, aluminum, automotive, manufacturing industry, cement and minerals, energy, logistics, and glass.
“Aries Industries SAS” is a French simplified joint-stock company, headquartered in Nantes (44300), at 27 rue du Ranzay, registered with the Nantes Trade and Companies Register under number 890 286 537. “Aries Industries SAS” specializes in forming solutions for the aeronautical industry and is involved in the design, manufacture, and installation of metal forming machines and turnkey workshops, including drawing, milling, and mechanical machining machines, as well as in the production of aeronautical parts for major international aerostructure manufacturers.
