Press release regarding the meeting of the Competition Council Section – Held on Thursday, July 23, 2026

In accordance with the provisions of Article 38 of the internal regulations of the Competition Council, the Council Section held a meeting on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 8:30 am, under the chairmanship of Mrs. Chaimae ABBOU, Vice-President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s Investigation and Inquiry Services.

The Section then decided to authorize the following economic concentration operations:

• Joint control acquisition of the company “Kartner Glass Industry SAS” by the Fund “Fonds Génération Entrepreneurs I FPCC-RFA”, alongside “Kartner Invest SAS AU”;
• Acquisition by the company “Hivest Capital Partners, SAS” of the exclusive control of the company “VM Industries, SAS” and the Group “Jokon GmbH”;
• Joint control acquisition by “Fonds Génération Entrepreneurs I FPCC-RFA” and the company “YSL Holding SARLAU” of the company “LCI Africa Holding SASU” from its historical shareholder, through the merger by absorption of the company “Université Internationale Averroès SA”;
• Joint control acquisition of the “Société Africaine des Études et des Travaux Spéciaux SARL” by the company “Travaux Généraux de Construction de Casablanca SA”, alongside the historical partners Mr. Salah El Mouda and Mr. Khali Moulay Lhassan;
• Joint control acquisition of the company “Romsons Group Private Limited” by the company “Jongsong Investments pte. ltd.”, alongside its historical shareholder “the khanna family”;
• Acquisition by the company “Groupe Bruxelles Lambert SA” of the joint control of the company “Recordati Industria Chimica e Farmaceutica S.p.A”, alongside the historical shareholder “CVC Capital Partners plc”.
