Press release regarding the meeting of the Competition Council Section – Held on Wednesday, February 05, 2025

In accordance with the provisions of Article 38 of the internal regulations of the Competition Council, the Council Section held a meeting on Wednesday, February 5 at 09:30, under the chairmanship of Mrs. Chaimae Abbou, Vice-President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigation services.

The Section then made decisions to authorize the following economic concentration operations:

• Establishment of a joint venture by “Daimler Truck AG” and “AB Volvo”;
• Acquisition by “Amcor Plc” of the exclusive control of “Berry Global Group Inc.”.
