Statement from the Competition Council

The Competition Council informs the public of the appointment of Mr. Mohamed Hicham BOUAYAD as General Reporter starting from January 20, 2025.

Before being appointed to this position, the individual has been serving as Acting General Reporter since February 2024, and has held the position of Deputy General Reporter since September 2019.

Mr. Mohamed Hicham BOUAYAD, who holds a PhD in law, specializing in competition and consumer law, joined the Competition Council in 2009 as a Reporter in the Instruction department after serving as a competition investigator at the Ministry of Economic and General Affairs, Prices and Competition Directorate.
