The Competition Council has received notification of an economic concentration project concerning the exclusive control acquisition by the company “Cooper Pharma SA” of the manufacturing and marketing of the following pharmaceutical products held by the company “Sanofi Aventis Maroc”: Relaxol, Coltramyl, Thiobactin, and Paroxetine win, in Morocco, Tunisia, and in certain sub-Saharan African countries.

“Cooper Pharma SA” is a Moroccan joint-stock company, active in research and development, production, and marketing of health products.

“Sanofi Aventis Maroc SA”, a subsidiary of the “Sanofi” group, is a Moroccan joint-stock company operating in research, development, manufacturing, and marketing of health solutions.
