Press release from the Competition Council regarding the economic concentration project concerning the acquisition by the company “Azelis Morocco SARL” of the exclusive control of the company “Chemical Partners Maghreb SA”, through the acquisition of 100% of the share capital and related voting rights.

In accordance with Article 13 of Law No. 104-12 on freedom of prices and competition and Article 10 of Decree No. 2-14-652 issued for its implementation, as amended and supplemented, the Competition Council makes available to the public the “operation summary” below, containing the information provided by the parties.

NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES

The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration operation concerning the acquisition by the company “Azelis Morocco SARL” of the exclusive control of the company “Chemical Partners Maghreb SA”, through the acquisition of 100% of the share capital and related voting rights.

“Azelis Morocco SARL” is a Moroccan limited liability company established in 2015 and a subsidiary of the Azelis group, active in the distribution of chemical products.

“Chemical Partners Maghreb SA” is a Moroccan joint-stock company established in 2008. Its activity involves the sale and distribution of specialty chemical products. The company supplies specialty chemicals to the paint and coatings industry and the construction sector in Morocco.
