Press release from the Competition Council regarding the economic concentration project concerning the acquisition of exclusive control by the company “Tractafric Véhicules Industriels SARLAU” of the business assets held by the company “CFAO Motors Maroc SA”

NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES

The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration operation concerning the acquisition by the company “Tractafric Vehicules Industriels SARLAU” of the business assets related to the import, distribution, and commercialization of industrial vehicles and spare parts of the DAF brand owned by the company “CFAO Motors Maroc SA”.

“Tractafric Vehicules Industriels SARLAU” is a single-member limited liability company under Moroccan law operating in the import, distribution, and commercialization of industrial vehicles in the automotive sector (heavy and medium-duty) and spare parts, as well as providing after-sales services related to these vehicles. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the French company “Tractafric Motors Corporation SA”.

“CFAO Motors Maroc SA” is a Moroccan joint-stock company, active in the marketing and distribution of products and services in the automotive sector.
