Press release regarding the meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law 20-13 on the Competition Council, the Permanent Commission of the Council held a meeting on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 9:30 a.m., under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigation services.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on July 5, 2021.

The Permanent Commission then made decisions to authorize the following three economic concentration operations:

• • • • The indirect joint control acquisition by Palmeraie Holding and ADP II Holding 11 of Bois & Co;
      • The exclusive control acquisition by InVivo Group of the capital and voting rights of Etablissements J,Soufflet;
      • The establishment of a joint venture Swiattowod Inwestycje sp.z o.o (FiberCo) by Orange Polska S.A and Acari Investments Holding B.V.

Furthermore, in accordance with the provisions of Article 26 of Law 104-12 on price freedom and competition, the Permanent Commission declared inadmissible a submission from the Professional Association of Aviators of the South and the Association of Fuel Companies in Morocco, claiming about the conditions of aviator activity in Morocco.
