Press release regarding the meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law 20-13 concerning the Competition Council, the Permanent Commission of the Council held a meeting on Monday, May 03, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigative services.
At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on April 26, 2021.

The Permanent Commission then made decisions to authorize the following economic concentration operations:

• • • • The exclusive control by the company Benvic S.r.l of a commercial part (Ramo d’azienda) and other assets (including intellectual property rights and related sales, agency, and distribution contracts) held by the company Celanese Production Italy Srl;
      • The exclusive control by the company SITECH Sitzechnik GmbH of the company SITECH Dongchang Automotive Seating Technology Co., Ltd;
      • The exclusive control of Traton SE through its wholly-owned subsidiary Traton US Inc of the company Navistar Int. Corp;
      • The exclusive control by the company MK Education SA of the KMR Holding Pédagogique SA group.

Furthermore, and in accordance with the provisions of Article 26 of Law 104-12 on price freedom and competition, the Permanent Commission declared inadmissible the submission from the company Navcities Sarl regarding the organization of the tender launched by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
