The Permanent Commission of the Competition Council held its meeting, via videoconference, on Friday, June 5, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., under the chairmanship of Mr. Driss Guerraoui, President of the Council.
After a thorough examination of the items on the meeting agenda, the Permanent Commission decided to authorize three economic concentration operations that do not affect competition in the relevant markets.

- The decision of the Competition Council regarding the exclusive control of the “Pharma Alliando Neftys” Group’s capital and voting rights related to “Pharmavet Maroc S.A” taken by the Permanent Commission meeting on June 5, 2020;
- The decision of the Competition Council, regarding the acquisition of assets of “Cheplapharm Arzneimittel GmbH” taken by the Permanent Commission on June 5, 2020;
- The decision of the Competition Council regarding the merger of “Peugot S.A” and “Fiat Chrysler Automobile N.V” for the creation of a new company, taken by the Permanent Commission meeting on June 5, 2020.

- The effective organization, via videoconference, on Thursday, July 4, 2020, as part of the cooperation agreement with the World Bank Group, of the first training session for the Council’s rapporteurs. This session focused on simplified procedures for economic concentrations;
- The development of a health monitoring guide for the members and staff of the Competition Council in anticipation of our country’s exit from the health emergency phase, scheduled for June 10, 2020;
- The start of implementing one of the Council’s communication strategy projects. This project focuses on raising awareness, advocacy, and promoting a culture of fair and honest competition, based on a collection of proverbs drawn from Moroccan oral tradition. This work will be carried out with the assistance of external national expertise;
- The launch of the first issue of the Council’s information bulletin, on the occasion of the next ordinary session of the Plenary Training of the Competition Council scheduled for Thursday, June 25, 2020.
