The Permanent Commission of the Competition Council held its meeting, via video conference, on Friday, March 27, 2020 at 10:00, under the chairmanship of Mr. Driss GUERRAOUI, President of the Council.
After a thorough examination of the items on the agenda, the following decisions were adopted:

- The decision regarding the acquisition by the Company “Argos Wityu S.A.S” of all the shares of the capital and voting rights of the Company “EJ Barbier SA” which holds 67.64% of the Capital and 82.98% of the voting rights of the shareholder Company “Société anonyme d’Explosifs et de Produits Chimiques”, as well as 95% of the shares of the capital of the Company “Adex SNC” which, along with all their subsidiaries, make up the “EPC” group;
- The decision regarding the exclusive control of the Companies “Lagardère Sports and Entertainment SAS” and “Lagardère Sports Inc” by the investment fund “H.I.G Capital L.L.C”;
- The decision of inadmissibility of the referral made by the Company “Aspémedical” regarding the degree of compliance with competition rules concerning the tender launched by the Provincial Hospital Center of the city of Larache.

At the end of the meeting, the President reminded the members of the Permanent Commission that the Competition Council had published, on its website, a statement regarding the measures taken in the fight against the repercussions of the “Covid 19” pandemic related to the new procedures framing the notification and processing of opinions, decisions, and authorizations of economic concentration operations. He also informed the members of the sending of the full text of his intervention before the Special Commission of the New Development Model, on Thursday, January 23, 2020.
It should be noted that the Permanent Commission had previously approved the minutes of its meeting held on March 20, 2020.
