The Competition Council signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the competition authority of Chile in May 2019. This Memorandum aims to establish a general framework for bilateral cooperation between the two National Authorities through the exchange of information on legislative and regulatory developments as well as jurisprudence in competition law and policy, sharing best practices and experiences in conducting investigations into cases of competition rule violations, sectoral studies, and the preparation of annual activity reports and experiences between the two National Competition Authorities and the sectoral regulatory authorities of both countries.
