The Permanent Commission of the Competition Council held its meeting, by videoconference, on Monday, October 5, 2020 at 09:30, under the chairmanship of Mr. Driss Guerraoui, President of the Competition Council.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on September 22, 2020.

Furthermore, after examining all aspects related to the file of the economic concentration operation concerning the exclusive control by the company “Alstom S.A” of the company “Bombardier Transportation UK LTD” and given that the preliminary competitive analysis of the markets subject to this operation has shown that there could be a possible infringement of fair competition, the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council has decided to conduct a thorough examination of the said operation.
