Meeting of the Permanent Commission

The Permanent Commission of the Competition Council held a meeting on Thursday, January 09, 2020, in the presence of the vice-presidents of the Council, Ms. Jihane BENYOUSSEF, Mr. Abdelghani ASNAINA, Mr. Abdellatif El’MKADEM, and Mr. Hassan ABOUABDELMAJID, as well as Mr. Mohamed ABOUELAZIZ, Secretary General of the Council.

This meeting was dedicated to the presentation and approval of two projects declared inadmissible decisions. The first decision project concerns the referral from the company Famacolor, regarding alleged unfair competition in the discontinuous polyester fiber sector. The second one deals with the referral from the company MIFA EQUIPMENT, regarding the tender for the acquisition of isothermal boxes (ICE BOX) with a lid and an additional lid with a window to facilitate the handling of fish species.

The members of the Permanent Commission decided to further examine the content of the first decision project, particularly the aspects related to competition in the relevant market. A decision of inadmissibility was issued regarding the second project.
