Press release from the Competition Council regarding the economic concentration project concerning the acquisition by ‘Sopra HR Software SAS,’ a subsidiary of the ‘Sopra Steria Group,’ of the exclusive control of the company ‘Neocase Software SAS’ through the acquisition of 100% of the capital and voting rights

In accordance with Article 13 of Law No. 104-12 on freedom of prices and competition and Article 10 of Decree No. 2-14-652 issued for its implementation, as amended and supplemented, the Competition Council makes available to the public the ‘summary of the operation’ below, containing the information provided by the parties.

The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration operation concerning the acquisition of exclusive control of the company ‘Neocase Software SAS’ by the company ‘Sopra Steria Group,’ through its subsidiary ‘Sopra HR Software SAS’ by acquiring 100% of the capital and voting rights.

‘Sopra Steria Group’ is a French public limited company registered with the Trade and Companies Register of Annecy under number 326 820 065, with its head office at PAE des Glaisins, Annecy-le-Vieux, 74940 Annecy. ‘Sopra Steria Group’ is a major player in tech in Europe, active in IT systems and software consulting.

‘Sopra HR Software SAS’ is a French simplified joint-stock company, a subsidiary of ‘Sopra Steria Group,’ registered with the Trade and Companies Register of Annecy under number 519 319 651 and active in computer programming. ‘Sopra HR Software SA’ is a leader in payroll and talent management solutions and services. The company is active, directly or through its subsidiaries, in France as well as in Germany, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Morocco, and Tunisia.
