NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES
The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration operation concerning the exclusive control acquisition by the company ‘Andritz AG’ of the company ‘A. Celli Paper S.p.A.’, through the acquisition of 100% of its capital and related voting rights.
‘Andritz AG’ is a public limited company under Austrian law, listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange, with its headquarters in Graz, Austria. It is a global supplier of solutions in the pulp and paper, metals, hydraulic power, environmental, and energy sectors.
‘A. Celli Paper S.p.A.’ is an Italian joint-stock company, headquartered in Capannori, Italy. The target is engaged in the design, construction, sale, and installation of plants and machinery for the production of paper for hygienic and packaging purposes, as well as in the trade of related accessories and spare parts and associated after-sales service.
