NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES

The Competition Council has received notification of a project of economic concentration concerning the acquisition by the company “Attijari Payment SA” of the asset elements of the company “Interbank Monetary Center SA” consisting of merchant membership contracts related to the activity of monetary payments on (i) Electronic Payment Terminal “EPT” and (ii) online via bank card (acquisition “PEL” and E-Commerce Gateway “PSP”).

“Attijari Payment SA” is a Moroccan public limited company, headquartered at 2 Boulevard Moulay Youssef, Casablanca, registered with the Casablanca Trade Register under number 359113.Elle est active dans le marché des paiements électroniques par carte.

The target assets consist of contracts between merchants and ‘Centre Monétique Interbancaire SA’. The latter is a public limited company incorporated under Moroccan law, with its registered office located at 8, Avenue Moulay Rachid, Casablanca, and registered with the Casablanca Trade Register under number 107713. It operates in the field of electronic payment studies and services.
