The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration operation concerning the acquisition by the company “Hikma Pharmaceuticals PLC” (Hikma) of the exclusive control of the pharmaceutical activity related to products (Bleomycin) from the company “Sanofi SA”.

“Hikma” is an international pharmaceutical company headquartered in the United Kingdom, manufacturing and distributing a wide range of generic products and brands, including injectable products and specialized medicines.

“Sanofi SA” is a global pharmaceutical company based in France, dedicated to research, development, manufacturing, distribution, and promotion of therapeutic solutions for patients worldwide. “Sanofi SA” is structured into two main business units: Biopharma and Consumer Healthcare.
