The Competition Council has received notification of an economic concentration project concerning the acquisition by the company “Holmarcom Finance Company SA” of the exclusive control of the “Moroccan Bank for Commerce and Industry, BMCI SA”.

“Holmarcom Finance Company SA” is a Moroccan joint-stock company with its registered office at No. 20, Rue Mostafa El Mâani, Casablanca and is registered in the Casablanca Trade Register under number 441371. This company operates in the insurance and banking sectors as well as in specialized financial services. “Holmarcom Finance Company SA” is a subsidiary of “Holmarcom SA”, which holds 81.98% of its share capital.

“Holmarcom SA” is a Moroccan joint-stock company, with its registered office at No. 20, Rue Mostafa El Mâani, Casablanca and is registered in the Casablanca Trade Register under number 37149. The company “Holmarcom SA” operates mainly in finance, agro-industry, distribution and logistics as well as real estate.

The “Moroccan Bank for Commerce and Industry, BMCI SA” is a Moroccan joint-stock company, with its registered office at No. 26, Place Des Nations Unies, Casablanca and is registered in the Casablanca Trade Register under number 4091. The “Moroccan Bank for Commerce and Industry, BMCI SA” operates in the banking sector by offering a complete range of financial products for individuals, businesses, and institutions.
