Press Release from the Competition Council regarding the economic concentration project concerning the acquisition by the company “Siemens Healthcare SARL” of assets related to certain linear accelerator equipment, held by the company “Techniques Sciences Santé SA”

In accordance with Article 13 of Law No. 104-12 on freedom of prices and competition and Article 10 of Decree No. 2-14-652 issued for its implementation, as amended and supplemented, the Competition Council makes available to the public the “summary of the operation” below, containing the information provided by the parties.

NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES

The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration operation concerning the acquisition by the company “Siemens Healthcare SARL” of assets related to certain Varian brand linear accelerator equipment operated by the company “Techniques Sciences Santé SA”.

“Siemens Healthcare SARL” is a Moroccan limited liability company operating in the marketing of a portfolio of products in the fields of imaging, advanced therapy, and laboratory diagnostics. It is indirectly a 100% subsidiary of the German company “Siemens Healthineers AG”.

“Techniques Sciences Santé SA” is a Moroccan public limited company, active in Morocco in the distribution and maintenance of medical equipment, particularly in diagnostic imaging and oncology. It is a 100% subsidiary of the company “Spv Rayon Holdings”.
