NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION
The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration operation concerning the acquisition by the company “Stora Enso Oyj” of the exclusive control of the company “Junnikkala Oy” through the acquisition of all its share capital and associated voting rights.
“Stora Enso Oyj” is a Finnish public limited company specializing in the manufacture of renewable products for the packaging, biomaterials, and wood products sectors.
“Junnikkala Oy” is a Finnish limited liability company specializing in the production of sawn timber and derivatives.
