NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES
The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration operation consisting of the acquisition of exclusive control by the company ‘Ufipar SAS’ of the company ‘Bey Médias SAS’ and its subsidiaries (the ‘Target Group’), through the acquisition of all its share capital and associated voting rights.
‘Ufipar SAS’ is a simplified joint-stock company under French law. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (‘LVMH’), the holding company of the LVMH group, present in the luxury sector worldwide.
‘Bey Médias SAS’ is a simplified joint-stock company under French law. The Target Group is active in the production of information and editorial content, the direct or indirect exploitation of these contents, and their dissemination to the public, in all forms, through all means of distribution and on all media. More specifically, the Target Group operates two press titles specialized in the economy and finance, namely AGEFI and l’Opinion.
