KG”, of the production facilities and certain assets of the company “VYNOVA Wilhelmshaven GmbH”.

The Competition Council received notification of a concentration project consisting of the acquisition of exclusive control by the company “Westlake Corporation”, through its subsidiary “Westlake Vinnolit GmbH & Co. KG”, of the production facilities and certain assets of the company “VYNOVA Wilhelmshaven GmbH”.

“Westlake Corporation” is a company registered in Delaware under IRS number 76-0346924, with its headquarters at 2801 Post Oak Blvd., Suite 600, Houston, Texas 77056, United States. “Westlake Corporation” is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and is a global supplier of chemicals, polymers, and construction materials. It offers several products throughout the value chain of two petrochemical products, namely olefins and vinyls.

The direct acquirer, “Westlake Vinnolit GmbH & Co. KG”, is a German company registered with the local court of Munich under number HRA 76260, with its headquarters at Carl-Zeiss-Ring 25, 85737 Ismaning, Germany.

“VYNOVA Wilhelmshaven GmbH” is a German company registered with the local court of Oldenburg under number HRB 209234, with its headquarters at Inhausersieler Str. 25, 26388 Wilhelmshaven, Germany. It operates in the production of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), specifically suspension PVC (S-PVC) as a final product and vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) as an intermediate product, at its production site in Wilhelmshaven, Germany.
