Press release from the Competition Council regarding the economic concentration project concerning the creation of a joint venture named “HARCO TECHNOLOGY SA” by the agricultural cooperative “COPAG”, the company “INTERPLAST Co. Ltd.”, and the company “SECOND WING SA”

In accordance with Article 13 of Law No. 104-12 on freedom of prices and competition and Article 10 of Decree No. 2-14-652 adopted for its implementation, as amended and supplemented, the Competition Council makes available to the public the “operation summary” below, containing the information provided by the parties.

NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES

The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration operation concerning the creation of a joint venture named “HARCO TECHNOLOGY SA” by the agricultural cooperative “COPAG”, the company “INTERPLAST Co. Ltd.”, and the company “SECOND WING SA”.

• “COPAG” is a Moroccan agricultural cooperative located in Ait lazza, 83200, Freija – Taroudant, active in the agri-food industry, particularly in the production and marketing of dairy products and derivatives, citrus fruits, vegetables, and meats.
• “SECOND WING SA” is a Moroccan joint-stock company, located at Apt No. 1, 1^st floor Block C, Salam District, Urban Commune Ait Iazza – Taroudant, registered with the Taroudante Court of First Instance under number 9225, active in the national and international goods transport and storage sector.
• “INTERPLAST Co. Ltd.” is a limited liability company under Emirati law, located at P.O Box 4679 Industrial Area 1, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, registered with the Sharjah Economic Development Department under license number 3155, active in the industrial packaging and custom molding sector.
• “HARCO TECHNOLOGY SA” will be established as a Moroccan joint-stock company with its registered office at COPAG – Ait Iazza industrial zone, Ait Iazza municipality, Taroudant province, and will focus on manufacturing plastic packaging materials in Morocco.
