Press release from the Competition Council regarding the economic concentration project concerning the exclusive control acquisition by the ‘Clinique Internationale de Settat SAS’ of the company ‘Lagnanet Oliviers SARL’

In accordance with Article 13 of Law No. 104-12 on freedom of prices and competition and Article 10 of Decree No. 2-14-652 adopted for its implementation, as amended and supplemented, the Competition Council makes available to the public the ‘operation summary’ below, containing the information provided by the parties.

NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES

The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration project consisting of the exclusive control acquisition by the ‘Clinique Internationale de Settat SAS’ of the company ‘Lagnanet Oliviers SARL’, through the acquisition of 100% of the share capital and related voting rights.

‘Clinique Internationale de Settat SAS’ is a Moroccan simplified joint-stock company, headquartered at 103, Quartier Lagnanet, Settat, Morocco, registered with the Settat Trade Register under number 5519. It is a subsidiary of the ‘CIM Santé group’ active in the private healthcare sector in Morocco. The group currently includes seven private clinics, including the ‘Clinique Internationale de Settat’ already operated by the notifying party.

‘Lagnanet Oliviers SARL’ is a Moroccan limited liability company, headquartered at 103, Quartier Lagnanet, Settat, Morocco, and registered with the Settat Trade Register under number 7643. ‘Lagnanet Oliviers’ owns the premises of the Clinique Internationale de Settat and has no other economic activity than owning and leasing said premises.
