The Competition Council has received notification of an economic concentration project operation concerning the exclusive takeover by the company ‘Atlas Hotels Property Morocco SA’ of the company ‘Meeting Point Hotels Morocco SA’ through the acquisition of the remaining 50% of its capital and related voting rights.

‘Atlas Hotels Property Morocco SA’ is a Moroccan joint stock company, headquartered at Marina Casablanca, Tour Ivoire 1, 8th floor, Casablanca, registered with the Casablanca Trade Register under number 30515. It specializes in the development and operation of hotel assets in Morocco, involved in the renovation, repositioning, and development of new hotel units.

‘Meeting Point Hotels Morocco SA’ is a Moroccan joint stock company, headquartered at Douar Bouchareb Route Targa, Marrakech, registered with the Marrakech Trade Register under number 79121. It is a joint venture between ‘Atlas Hotels Property Morocco SA’ and the group ‘FTI Touristik GmbH’. It operates in the 4-star hotel accommodation market in Marrakech, where it owns the LabrandaTarga Marrakech hotel, a 4-star hotel with 239 rooms.
