The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration project concerning the exclusive takeover by the company ‘CMGP Group SA’ of the company ‘Compagnie de Produits Chimiques du Maroc SA’ through the acquisition of 92.5% of its capital and related voting rights.

‘CMGP Group SA’ is a Moroccan joint-stock company, headquartered at Parc Industriel Sapino, Lots 102-105, Nouaceur, Casablanca, registered with the Casablanca Trade Register under number 411083. It is active in the fields of irrigation, agro-supply, solar energy, and water infrastructure.

‘Compagnie de Produits Chimiques du Maroc SA’ is a Moroccan joint-stock company, headquartered at Boulevard Ouk’at Badi, Quartier Roches Noires, Casablanca, registered with the Casablanca Trade Register under number 3225. Its main activity is the trade of fertilizers, fertilizers, and other phytosanitary products, such as insecticides.
