Press release from the Competition Council regarding the economic concentration project concerning the exclusive takeover by the company “Eaton Industries XX Unlimited Company” of the company “COL Giovanni Paolo S.p.A.”

In accordance with Article 13 of Law No. 104-12 on freedom of prices and competition and Article 10 of Decree No. 2-14-652 adopted for its implementation, as amended and supplemented, the Competition Council makes available to the public the “operation summary” below, containing the information provided by the parties.

The Competition Council received notification of a project for an economic concentration operation concerning the exclusive takeover by the company “Eaton Industries XX Unlimited Company” of the company “COL Giovanni Paolo S.p.A.”.

“Eaton Industries XX Unlimited Company” is an unlimited liability company under Irish law, registered with the Companies Registration Office under number 640250 and headquartered at Eaton House, 30 Pembroke Road, Dublin 4, D04 Y0C2, Ireland. “Eaton Industries XX Unlimited Company” is a wholly-owned subsidiary of “Eaton Corporation Plc”.

“COL Giovanni Paolo S.p.A.” is an Italian joint-stock company, registered with the Turin Companies Register under number 00504760018 and headquartered at Via Chiribiri No. 1, 10028 Trofarello (TO), Italy. This company is active in the design, manufacture, and supply of components and integrated solutions for electricity transmission and distribution networks.
