The Competition Council has received notification of an economic concentration operation concerning the acquisition by the company “Airbus SAS”, through its subsidiary “Airbus Atlantic SAS”, of the exclusive control of “Mecanizaciones Aeronáuticas SA”, “Tratamientos y Procesos Finales Aeronáuticos SLU”, “Himec Aero SL”, “NMT Aerospace Machining SL”, “Gepro Systems SL”, and “Orisol Montajes Avanzados SL”.

“Airbus SAS” is a simplified joint-stock company under French law, registered with the Toulouse Trade and Companies Register under number 383474814, and headquartered at 2, Rond-Point Dewoitine, 31700 Blagnac (France). It operates globally in the aerospace, space, and defense-related services sectors.

“Airbus Atlantic SAS” is a simplified joint-stock company under French law, registered with the La Rochelle Trade and Companies Register under number 778127613, and headquartered at Zone Industrielle de l’Ancien Arsenal, 17300 Rochefort (France). It operates as a first-tier supplier of aerostructures (including fuselage and wing parts), pilot seats, and premium passenger seats for the aeronautical industry.

“Mecanizaciones Aeronáuticas SA” is a public limited company under Spanish law, registered with the La Rioja Commercial Register under references Volume 295, Page 8, Sheet LO-2001, and headquartered at Avenida del Ebro 33, 26150 Agoncillo (Spain). It operates as a second-tier supplier of metallic aerostructure components.
