NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES
The Competition Council received notification of an economic concentration project concerning the indirect exclusive acquisition of the company ‘Mala Sag AB’ by the company ‘HS Timber Group GmbH’ (HS Timber) through the company ‘Nextwood Four GmbH’.
‘Nextwood Four GmbH’ is an Austrian holding company established for the purposes of the proposed operation and owned by ‘HS Timber’.
‘HS Timber’ is an Austrian limited liability company, mainly active in the wood processing industry and also involved in wood production, wood trading, and bioenergy production on an international scale.
‘Mala Sag AB’ is a Swedish limited liability company established for the purposes of the proposed operation, which operates a sawmill in Sweden. Its activities include the manufacture and marketing of sawn timber and by-products for industrial and commercial customers. The company’s operations are carried out outside Morocco.
