NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES
The Competition Council has received notification of an economic concentration project concerning the joint takeover by the company “AfricInvest Financial Inclusion Vehicle LLC” of the company “Vantage Payment Systems SA” alongside the company “Equity Invest SA”.
“AfricInvest Financial Inclusion Vehicle LLC” is a limited liability company incorporated under Mauritian law, with its registered office at “5th Floor, Nexsky Building, Ebène Cybercity, 72201” in Mauritius, registered with the Mauritius Companies Registry under number C150672. It is an investment fund dedicated to African financial institutions in the field of innovative financial services solutions.
“Equity Invest SA” is a Moroccan joint-stock company, with its registered office at 200 boulevard Ghandi, Casablanca, registered with the Casablanca Trade Register under number 219277. It is a holding company present through its subsidiaries and interests in companies offering innovative solutions in various sectors such as industry, banking, and technology.
“Vantage Payment Systems SA” is a Moroccan joint-stock company, with its registered office at 200 boulevard Ghandi, Casablanca, registered with the Casablanca Trade Register under number 232061. It operates in the online electronic payment market.
