NON-CONFIDENTIAL SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION PROVIDED BY THE PARTIES
The Competition Council has received a notification of an economic concentration operation involving the joint takeover by “Valoris Equity Fund” and “Valoris Alternative Investments Fund” of the company “Empower Holding SARLAU”, including its subsidiary “Somalev Crane And Logistics SA”, through the acquisition of respectively 27% and 18% of its capital and associated voting rights alongside “Mr. Mohammed MOUFID”.
“Valoris Equity Fund” is an investment fund in the form of a collective investment scheme in capital, which aims to make investments in small and medium-sized enterprises.
“Valoris Alternative Investments Fund” is an investment fund in the form of a collective investment scheme in capital, which specializes in holding investments in small and medium-sized enterprises in the field of energy transition.
“Empower Holding” is a single-member limited liability company under Moroccan law, registered with the Casablanca Trade Register under number 588041. It is a holding company for investments in other companies.
“Somalev Crane And Logistics” is a joint stock company, registered with the Casablanca Trade Register under number 269191. It specializes in logistics services.
