The Competition Council received a notification regarding the establishment of a joint venture between China National Medical Device Co.Ltd and GE Healthcare Co.Ltd.

The activities of the companies involved are as follows:

– China National Medical Device Co.Ltd is part of the Sinopharm group active in healthcare with a complete industrial chain covering R&D, manufacturing, logistics and distribution, retail chains, healthcare, engineering services, exhibitions, and conferences in the relevant sector.

– GE Healthcare Co.Ltd is a global provider of medical devices, technologies, and related services, particularly in medical imaging, diagnostics, treatments, and patient monitoring. The group also provides solutions, services, and data analytics to make hospitals more efficient.
