Press release regarding the meeting of the Competition Council Section

In accordance with the provisions of Article 38 of the internal regulations of the Competition Council, the Council Section held a meeting on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 10:00 am, under the chairmanship of Mrs. Jihane Benyoussef, Vice-President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigative services.

This Section has made decisions to authorize the following four economic concentration operations:

• • The exclusive takeover of the companies “Total Eren Holding SA” and “total Eren sa” by the company “Totalenergies se”, through the acquisition of the remaining 66.1% stake in the share capital and the related voting rights;
  • The exclusive takeover of the company “PAG SAS” by “VISEO SAS”, through the acquisition of 100% of its share capital and the related voting rights;
  • The joint takeover of “LAPROPHAN” by “MC IV Pharma” through the acquisition of 24.59% of the share capital and the related voting rights
  • The direct joint takeover by the company “CDG Invest S.A” of the company “Qazi USA Inc”, through the acquisition of two “simple agreement for future equity”, Convertible into shares in the target’s share capital.
