Press release regarding the meeting of the Competition Council Section – held on Monday, December 29, 2025

In accordance with Article 38 of the Competition Council’s internal regulations, the Council Section held the meeting on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 10am under the chairmanship of Mr. Hassan Abouabdelmajid, Vice President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigation and instruction services.

The Section has decided to authorize the following economic concentration operations, concerning:

• The joint control acquisition of the company ‘Grant Thornton AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft’ by the company ‘Pacioli UK Midco Limited’ alongside the certified historical shareholders ‘Certified GT Germany Partners’;
• the indirect exclusive acquisition by the company ‘Lone Star Fund XII, L.P’ of the company ‘Hillenbrand, Inc’.
