Press release regarding the meeting of the Competition Council Section – held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025

In accordance with the provisions of Article 38 of the internal regulations of the Competition Council, the Council Section held a meeting on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 10:00 am, under the chairmanship of Mr. Hassan ABOUABDELMAJID, Vice-President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigation services.

The Section then made decisions to authorize the following economic concentration operations:

• The indirect exclusive control of the company ‘Malå Såg AB’ by the company ‘HS Timber Group Gmbh’.
• The exclusive control of the ‘BASF Coatings’ division by the company ‘Bond UK MidCo 4 Ltd’.
• The exclusive control of the company ‘Electronic Arts Inc.’ by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), through its subsidiary ‘Oak-Eagle AcquireCo, Inc’.
• The joint control by the investment fund ‘Capmezzanine V FPCC-RFA’ of the company ‘SODALMU SA’, alongside the historical shareholder, the company ‘Sanam Agro SA’.
