Press release regarding the meeting of the Competition Council Section – held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024

In accordance with the provisions of Article 38 of the internal regulations of the Competition Council, the Council Section held a meeting on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 10:00 am, under the chairmanship of Mr. Abdelaziz Talbi, Vice-President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigation services.

The Section then made decisions to authorize the following economic concentration operations:

• Acquisition by the company « Lufthansa Technik AG » of the exclusive control of the companies « LG-LHT Aircraft Solutions Gmbh », « LG-LHT Passenger Solutions Gmbh » and « AerQ Gmbh » ;
• Joint control acquisition of the company « imperium Holding SARL » by the companies « Proparco » and « IFU » from the historical shareholders ;
• Acquisition by the company « Unatrac Holding Limited » of the exclusive control of Group « Premium SA » and its subsidiaries.

Furthermore, the section decided to declare the operation consisting of the acquisition by the company « CIM HOLDING SA » of the exclusive control of the « Clinique spécialisée AL FARABI » as non-notifiable since it does not fall within the scope defined by Article 12 of Law 104-12 on freedom of prices and competition, as amended and supplemented.
