Press release regarding the meeting of the Competition Council Section – held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024

In accordance with the provisions of Article 38 of the internal regulations of the Competition Council, the Council Section held a meeting on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 10:00 am, under the chairmanship of Mr. Hassan abouabdlmajid, Vice-President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigation services.

The Section decided to authorize the following economic concentration operations:

• Acquisition by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, through Sun Pharma B.V, of exclusive control of Valstar S.A;
• Acquisition of exclusive control of “Juha Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH & Co KG”, “Junker & Halverscheid Formenbau GmbH & Co KG”, and “Junker & Halverscheid Vermögensverwaltung GmbH & Co KG” by “Yazaki Europe Middle East Africa NV”.
• Acquisition by “GAP Arthur Holdco L.P.” affiliated with the General Atlantic Group “GA” of “Actis Holdings S.à r.l.” by acquiring 100% of its share capital and related voting rights;
• Acquisition by “lasobio s.a” of joint control of “ngph gmbh” and “myherbliz ug” alongside “new garden pharma limited”.
