Press release regarding the meeting of the Competition Council Section – held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024

In accordance with the provisions of Article 38 of the Internal Regulations of the Competition Council, the Council Section held a meeting on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 10:00 am, under the chairmanship of Mr. ABOUABDELMAJID Hassan, Vice-President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigation services.

The Section decided to authorize three economic concentration operations related to:

• The acquisition of exclusive control of the company « Sopra Banking Software sa » and its subsidiaries in Morocco by the company « Axway Software sa », through the acquisition of 100% of its share capital and voting rights;
• The joint acquisition of Italia Trasporto Aereo S.p.A. by Deutsche Lufthansa AG, through the acquisition of 41% of its share capital and associated voting rights.
• The acquisition of exclusive control of Global Infrastructure Management, LLC by Blackrock Funding, Inc through the acquisition of 100% of its share capital and voting rights.
