Press release regarding the meeting of the Competition Council Section – held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023

In accordance with Article 38 of the Internal Regulations of the Competition Council, the Council Section held a meeting on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 9:30 am, under the chairmanship of Mr. Abdellatif EL M’KADDEM, Vice-President of the Competition Council, to examine the cases submitted to it by the Council’s investigation services.

This Section has decided to authorize the following five economic concentration operations:

• Exclusive control acquisition by “EW Group GmbH” of “Placin Midco S.à.r.l”, through the acquisition of 100% of its share capital and related voting rights;
• Exclusive control acquisition of the company “Biwater Maroc SA” by the company “Arma Holding SA”, through the acquisition of 100% of its share capital and related voting rights;
• Exclusive control acquisition by the company “Dislog Group SA” of 100% of the share capital and voting rights of the company “Africare SARLAU”;
• Joint control acquisition of Banco BPM Assicurazioni SPA, Vera Assicurazioni SPA, and Vera Protezione SPA by Crédit Agricole Assurances SA;
• Direct exclusive control acquisition by the company “LABEL VIE SA” of the company “FINANCEMENT NOUVEAU A CREDIT” (FNAC), through the acquisition of 100% of its shares and related voting rights.
