Press release regarding the meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Competition Council

In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of Law 20-13 on the Competition Council, as amended and supplemented, the Permanent Commission of the Council held a meeting on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 09:30, under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Rahhou, President of the Competition Council, to examine the files submitted to it by the Council’s investigating services.

At the beginning of its work, the Permanent Commission approved the minutes of its meeting held on May 11, 2023.
The Permanent Commission then made decisions to authorize the following two economic concentration operations:

• • The acquisition by the company ‘CMA CGM SA.’ of the exclusive control of the company ‘La Méridionale S.A’ and its subsidiaries and the company ‘Sigma S.A.S’;
  • The acquisition by the company ‘Dislog Group S.A’ of joint control of the company ‘GB DISTRIBUTION Sarl’ through the acquisition of 51% of its share capital.
